Exercise 1: Conversation exercise

Instruction:

  1. Parla con l'agente immobiliare. Che tipo di alloggio vuoi affittare? (Talk to the real estate agent. What kind of accomodation do you want to rent? )
  2. Nomina e descrivi i tipi di alloggi nelle immagini. Pensa ai prezzi. (Name and describe the types of accomodations in the pictures. Think about the prices. )

Example phrases:

Posso affittare la villa per il fine settimana? È molto grande con una bella piscina.

Can I rent the villa for the weekend? It is very big with a nice pool.

Voglio affittare una stanza in questo hotel per due mesi.

I want to rent a room in this hotel for two months.

Penso che l'affitto sia troppo caro.

I think the rent is too expensive.

Preferisco affittare un posto letto in una stanza condivisa perché è più economico.

I prefer to rent a shared room because it is cheaper.

Mi piace vivere con più persone. Quindi voglio condividere un appartamento ma desidero una stanza singola.

I like to live with more people. So I want to share an appartment but I want a single room.

Sto cercando una casa da affittare insieme al mio partner.

I am looking for a house to rent together with my partner.

Instruction: Match the translations

Il proprietario è sempre gentile e disponibile. (The owner is always kind and helpful.)
L'agenzia ci ha mostrato una casa con due camere da letto. (The agency showed us a house with two bedrooms.)
Nel contratto c'è scritto il prezzo dell'affitto mensile. (The contract states the monthly rent price.)

Exercise 5: Cluster the words

Instruction: Abbina le parole alle due categorie in base al tipo di alloggio o a chi si occupa dell'affitto.
